A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you.” Luke 6:38 “Whatever a man sows, that he will also reap.” Galatians 6:7 “But this I say: He who sows sparingly will also reap sparingly, and he who sows bountifully will also reap bountifully.” 2 Corinthians 9:6 THE PRINCIPLE OF INVESTMENT Slide 3: The principle of investment says that if you invest or give something, you will receive it back many times over. The Scripture expresses this principle again and again. “sows” = work; labor; endurance “Invest” = put in; devote What do you want? Sow it. Invest it! Slide 4: Do you want friends? Invest friendship Do you want love? Invest love. Do you want respect? Invest by respecting others “A little boy gave a lunch. To him it was giving. He invested His Only Begotten Son, Jesus Christ for us. John 3:16 He deposited His Holy Spirit in us to guarantee our inheritance until the redemption of those who are God’s possessions – to the praise of His glory. Ephesians 1:14 God invest in us to make known the glorious riches of the mystery, which is Christ in us, the hope of glory. Colossians 1:27 Slide 10: Glory occurs when you allow Him to work through you to fulfill His purpose; your calling, your eternity destiny, His divine agenda in your life. 5 “P’s of God’s Investment in Us: Position Passion Proficiencies Place Potentials = past & present experiences = what we love to do = talents, gifts = bloom where you are planted = designed for fruitfulness Slide 11: God’s INVESTMENT for you is simply perfect. He wants to show you things that only you can understand by living what you are living, and by being in the place you are now.
