COPS = CAPITALIZATION : COPS = CAPITALIZATION Remember to CAPITALIZE the following: The beginning of EVERY sentence NAMES of people and places MONTHS DAYS of the week The word “I” (I will be ok) COPS = ORGANIZATION : COPS = ORGANIZATION Your writing needs to be ORGANIZED correctly SENTENCES: Start with a CAPITAL End with PUNCTUATION (period, exclamation mark, question mark) Has a SUBJECT (who) and a VERB (what they did) Makes SENSE PARAGRAPHS: At least 5 SENTENCES Starts with a TOPIC SENTENCE Contains at least 3 SUPPORTING DETAILS Ends with a CONCLUSION SENTENCE COPS = PUNCTUATION : COPS = PUNCTUATION Remember to PUNCTUATE PERIODS . Abbreviations (Mrs.) and at the end of a NORMAL sentence EXCLAMATION MARKS ! At the end of a sentence = EXCITED QUESTIONS MARKS ?
