Background and History : 

3 Background and History The Brethren at Beverly Hills donated the church building to the Brown Trail School of Preaching in January of 2008 so that a Hispanic church may begin The school received the building as it was The students cleaned and fixed the building in preparation for a gospel meeting that took place in April 2008 There were no contacts or studies made out of this meeting back in April of 2008

Background and History : 

4 Background and History Brother Alberto Suarez decided to be in charge of this work as of November of 2008. He will be working according to his ability and time. He will also be working with brother Carlos Vazquez.

Present condition : 

5 Present condition There are no members at this congregation We do not have visitors at this time We only have the building The building is working, and it has: Main auditorium A/C Ceiling fans Baptistry Sound equipment Kitchen 2 classrooms for children A workroom A cry room with sound system and a window to view the pulpit Church office 1 restroom for males 1 restroom for ladies Storage room Parking lot for about 120 people

Present condition : 

6 Present condition It would be considered a crime not to labor in this great work when it has everything you need to work

Needs : 

7 Needs The building requires maintenance Locks need to be replace Fix gas pipeline (for the winter) Cover A/C duct Replace broken windows Replace old doors that are damaged Fix water drops from the ceiling in the kitchen Etc. We need financial support

What have we accomplished up to this date? : 

8 What have we accomplished up to this date? Maintenance We mowed the lawn around the building We were able to do this in one day with the help of brother Ismael Sánchez and his wife Zenaida from Colleyville, TX We cut all of the grass that had grown over the parking lot We removed all of the dirt that had accumulated over the parking lot because of the rain We placed some adornments for the better look of the building All of these things were possible with the help of the following families Guajardo, Suárez, Valles and Alvarenga

What have we done so far? : 

10 What have we done so far? Spiritual works We have re-open the doors of the building for regular meetings Sundays at 5:00 P.M. Thursdays at 7:00 P.M. We invited the neighbors around the church building to our regular services and told them that we were there to serve them We have visited 3 congregations around the area, encouraging them to help us grow the church at Beverly Hills We will visit more congregations to ask for their support

Results : 

11 Results In our last 4 meetings on Thursdays, we have had an attendance of no less than 15 people This is very important, since before this took place, ony one person would meet with us (Frank Silva who with much love has taken the time to start a website for the church at Beverly Hills) The website is: http://www.bevhills.org/inicio.html We have strengthen our fellowship with the brethren who have helped us tremendously Silva Family Flores Family Valles Family Alvarenga Family Vázquez Family

What do we need? : 

13 What do we need? Help from other congregations How? With your prayers on behalf of this great work With two families from each congregation That they worship with us for a period of 6 months ( or with whatever time they can help us) That these families participate of the 5 acts of worship at Beverly Hills (singing, prayers, preaching, Lord’s Supper, and contribution) At the end of 6 months, they will return to their home congregation. This will take place no matter what results we may accomplish

What do we need? :

Financial assistance We are in need of about $1,200 per month This will cover the building expenses, along with a little support for the preacher Any financial help provided will be greatly appreciated Please be advise that at the end of the presentation, you will find contact information

What do we offer? : 

15 What do we offer? Training in the ministry of evangelism The families that help us will be receiving a direct and intensive training on how to share the gospel efficiently. This class will be imparted by brother Alberto Suarez

16 What do we offer? Such training will prepare our brethren for: Being able to find Bible studies Being able to impart with simplicity and efficiently the home Bible studies Being able to respond to the question, WHAT MUST I DO TO BE SAVED?

17 Benefits When these families go back to their home congregation they will be a great blessing, since they will be able to: Help more efficiently in the area of evangelism They will be able to equip other brethren in evangelism They will strengthen their faith laboring in evangelism
