In addition to the Malama Kai Foundation Moorings on Kauai, the state has installed day use moorings as follows:
Kona Coast – 46 buoys between Kealakekua and Mahukona
Molokini – multiple buoys
First come, first serve
No anchoring within 100 yards of a day use mooring
No overnight use
