Anyone who wants to honor a woman by telling her story and who pledges $300 to become a story sponsor. How will the “inspiring women” be honored? : How will the “inspiring women” be honored? Their stories and photos will be collected and shared by compiling them into a keepsake book. Slide 22: The book will be professionally bound and published in December 2010. Slide 23: By telling her story, you also support the YWCA of Lewiston, ID-Clarkston, WA. Slide 24: The YWCA empowers women to change their lives through the safety of our domestic violence shelter and by providing guidance and hope to homeless families. In 2008 the YWCA : In 2008 the YWCA Housed 72 homeless families Sheltered 52 women and 48 children from domestic violence In 2008 the YWCA : In 2008 the YWCA Provided enough food to make 19,803 meals for hungry residents in the area Answered 4,946 crisis calls Slide 27: Is there a better way to honor a woman who has done so much for you than by helping someone in need while creating a lasting legacy to her indomitable spirit? Slide 28: Pledges and stories must be received at the YWCA by June 30, 2010.
