Etiquette Norms AttireBusiness Etiquette : Business Etiquette Proper Speech Tone When being present at a business meeting in Japan, as a guest we should watch our speech of tone. Handshake Etiquette Japanese are very meticulous about their private space.Business Etiquette Cont.: Business Etiquette Cont. Punctuality Businesses in Japan are run with accuracy. It is suggested to arrive early to every meeting. Giving Notice of Arrival It is encouraged to give notice of arrival with a phone call at least an hour in advanced.Business Norms: Business Norms Using the following Norms : \ Teamwork Business in Japan is all about “we” rather than “I”. Customer Service The philosophy is that superior customer service should be the norm. Hospitality Japan maintains a habit of gift giving. Understanding the following Norms : / Repetitive Meetings It is sometimes important to have a set of meetings when talking business matters.
