Unless employees can effectively communicate to fellow employees, supervisors and the boss, they are doomed to failure as effective managers.

4 Common Methods of Communicating : 

4 Common Methods of Communicating Written Communication: includes letters, faxes, and memos. Some individuals feel that communicating in this manner ensures that the intended message will come across – everyone will read the same words; therefore everyone will get the same message. Telecommunication: includes telephones, intercoms and other voice communications. Can be more effective because they use 45 %of a message’s capability (7% verbal and 38% tonal)

4 Common Methods of Communicating : 

4 Common Methods of Communicating Third-Party Communication: Worst of the 4 methods. Not only does the message have the meaning the sender intended, it is subject to a second meaning– that of the person acting as the communication channel. Face-to-Face: Best way to communicate Offers the full range of communication. Sender can impart the desired meaning-Receiver can ask questions or ask for clarification in needed.
