What is the MCCCC? Mid-Chambers Christian Caring Center, Inc. is a non-profit organization. We help people in need by providing short-term assistance with basic needs.

Who Operates the MCCCC? : 

Who Operates the MCCCC? The Ministerial Alliance created the MCCCC in 1983 to combine services they were providing individually. Members are local churches, who appoint representatives to the Board of Directors. Nearly all workers are volunteers who work in all areas of MCCCC operations. A few workers are paid stipends to manage programs.

What kind of help does MCCCC offer? : 

What kind of help does MCCCC offer? Food Pantry – open Monday & Thursday, 9 -11 a.m., to qualified families Prescription drug vouchers Utility vouchers for electric, propane, and water bills Vehicle fuel vouchers Thrift Shop, selling clothing and many other items at greatly-discounted prices, is open Monday and Thursday and the first Saturday of each month, 9 a.m.-noon Annual Christmas Food Box Distribution

Disaster Relief : 

Disaster Relief MCCCC was instrumental in distributing aid after Hurricane Rita in 2005. The organization became even more involved in Disaster relief after Hurricane Ike in 2008. MCCCC distributed tons of items and offered many kinds of assistance to those affected by the storm.

Does the MCCCC give out money? No, we provide vouchers or in-kind goods: Clothing Household goods Cleaning supplies Personal supplies Toys and other items for children

How is the MCCCC Supported? : 

How is the MCCCC Supported? Donations of money, given by member churches, individuals, and grant sources. Donations of food during our annual Food Drives, held throughout the community. Donations of in-kind personal and household items, sold through the Thrift Shop to raise money for our programs.

How Do You Get Involved with the MCCCC? : 

How Do You Get Involved with the MCCCC? Any church can be a member with representatives by agreeing to the articles in the Constitution and By-Laws. Any individual can donate goods, money, and volunteer assistance. Contact us at P.O.Box 1498, Anahuac 77514, call Executive Director Wayne Hankamer at 277-9439, Secretary Sue Hawthorne 267-4088, or stop by the Thrift Shop or Food Pantry any Monday or Thursday morning.
