Vinay Rama : When to Rely on Music Therapy :

Vinay Rama : When to Rely on Music Therapy As Vinay Rama knows it, the positive effects of music therapy have been documented a long time ago. This form of healing is considered to be an “outside of the box” approach by many, but nonetheless, it is a therapy method that is supported by the fields of psychology and physiology.

A Great Anti-Depression Tool:

A Great Anti-Depression Tool Musical therapy alone cannot take on depression, but it is proven that it can increase the effects of certain treatments for it. When listening to music, the body often increases its hormonal output. When that hormone is serotonin, a substance known for being around during physical activity (sports), sex, or while listening to music, the therapy can be much more effective.

Autism:

Autism Studies have proven another positive effect of music: its impact on people with autism. Those who are on the autism spectrum, usually have problems concentrating, initiating eye contact, or sometime to even talk. Music therapy is one of the few tools that can help.

Stress Levels:

Stress Levels When the brain listens to music, its waves change, and the whole body seemingly changes. One of the reasons for this is music’s ability to reduce stress. Listening to music is living in the present, being fully there in the moment, and when that happens, worrying thoughts go away. They might come back later, but when the brain is occupied with something that is so positive most of the time, it doesn’t have time to create negative thoughts.
