Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Presentation On Visual Communication Presented By: Amrendra SinghVISUAL COMMUNICATION: VISUAL COMMUNICATION Visual communication as the name suggests is communication through visual aid and is described as the conveyance of ideas and information in forms that can be read or looked upon. Visual communication solely relies on vision, and is primarily presented or expressed with two dimensional images, it includes: signs , typography , drawing , graphic design , illustration , colour and electronic resources. It also explores the idea that a visual message accompanying text has a greater power to inform, educate, or persuade a person or audience.Slide 4: Signing If your deaf, then speaking is done with a combination of hands, arms and the mouth. Some who are deaf can read lips. Even though no sounds are heard, the words formed by the mouth are interpreted visually.Slide 6: Clothing & Bodily Characteristics Elements such as physique, height, weight, hair, skin color , gender, odors , and clothing send nonverbal messages during interaction Clothing worn- A famous writer said man is recognised by “ Dress & Address”. Meaning thereby looks and the way a person speaks both are important. Research into height has generally found that taller people are perceived as being more impressive. Often people try to make themselves taller, for example, standing on a platform, when they want to make more of an impact with their speaking.Slide 7: Uniforms have both a functional and a communicative purpose.
