Your knowledge and experience should speak for itself. However your appearance is the first impression you make. you should want it to project professionalism. Your personal style will of course play a role in what you decide to wear. Staying within generally accepted guidelines for professional dress is the best way to project a professional image. 3 Why Dress for Success?

Business or Business Casual? : 

Typically, “business” events would be job interviews, meetings with superiors, or meetings with clients. “Business casual” events may be pre-interview dinners or meetings with colleagues. Every company’s definition of “business” and “business casual” is different, so be sure to ask or read the company’s printed dress code. 4 Business or Business Casual?
