Wal-Mart is where a lot of people do their shopping for low prices.Health Care: Health Care Only 40% of Wal-Mart employees receive health insurance Wal-Mart is rolling back coverage for part time worker and raising premium for full time staff. Part time employees who work less than 24 hours a week will no longer qualify for any of the company’s health insurance plan.Labor Union: Labor Union Wal-Mart has been criticized for its policies against labor union. Wal-Mart workers have no chance to organize. Managers receive explicit instruction on keeping out union.Gender Discrimination: Gender Discrimination Wal-Mart has been discriminated against women. Women had been denied training and promotion opportunities. Women are under paid compared to men.Low Wages: Low Wages Wal-Mart pays its sale’s associates, cashiers, team leaders less than national average for the same job. Because Wal-Mart employs part time and low paid workers, some workers qualify for states welfare program.Unfair treatment of Employees: Unfair treatment of Employees Wal-Mart has faced accusation involving poor conditions of its employees. Employees forced to work unpaid over time. In 2004, Wal-Mart agreed to pay $400,000 to the government to settle claims that Sam's club had floated federal air pollution regulations. Wal-Mart accused of raising the amount of CO2 in the air.Race Incidents: Race Incidents On March 18, 2010, a store in Washington Township announced “ Attention Wal-Mart customers all black people leave the store now.”Conclusion: Conclusion Wal-Mart unethical business practices have heard its company’s reputation.
