The classroom of tomorrow will utilize technology to create a more efficient and challenging learning environment for the students. In the near future, students may experience a classroom where any wall or surface can be interactive, locating reading material will come from an electronic pad not a bookshelf, and assessments could possibly be answered from pushing a button from their desk not bubbling in an answer with a pencil. Interactive Whiteboards Boards that projects multimedia presentations and interactive teaching through pens and software applications. Visualizers A video-camera that can project any object onto the screen. SRS (Student Response System) Students can respond to questions from remotes at their desks. AVer Pen Pen and software that create an interactive learning environment on any wall.

Teachers around the world are realizing the convenience and efficiency that SRS (Student Response Systems) brings to the classroom. Every student is accountable for responding. Numbered system gives students their privacy. Teachers can plan assessments ahead of time or ask students to respond to verbal questions. Results can be graphed immediately to clarify any misconceptions. Students and teachers save time by monitoring and adjusting to what student have learned and what needs to be reviewed. The Smart Table’s interactive surface makes learning hands-on as students are able to manipulate , create visuals, and make notes with the swipe of their fingers. The technology allows students to quickly see incorrect responses, giving students multiple opportunities to work through their problems. Fosters collaborative work in teams up to 8 students. Students progress can be monitored remotely from teacher laptop. Students gain efficiency with using fine and gross motor skills on multi-touch surface (a skill that will definitely benefit them in the 21st century workplace).
