Our Classroom Library Broad Brook School’s Library Warehouse Point Library Scholastic’s Book Wizard Click on Guided Reading On – line How Else Can I Grow My Child’s Reading? : Check that your child is bringing home his/her Pack – N – Read every school night. Set aside time for your child to read every day. Make reading a family affair! Set aside time every day for the entire family to read. There is a lot of information on the internet that supports parents’ efforts. These sites provide tips, tools, & resources to help you motivate your child to read at home. How Else Can I Grow My Child’s Reading? What Should My Child Write About? : Whatever s/he would like to write about! During the school year we learn a variety of strategies that help us get ideas. Broad Brook School administers the DRA 3x/year September January May When taking the DRA, your child Reads aloud a portion of the book to determine their reading fluency.
