Academic Growth assessed by district and grade – level assessments

This Data Shows… : 

This Data Shows… The % of students in Room 20 who have met or exceeded the district and/or grade – level benchmarks. Benchmark tests are taken 3 times a year ~ October, January, and May. Benchmark tests that are taken include the BAS, STAR Reading and Math, Writing Prompt, and Open – Ended Response The children’s growth updated with each assessment.

Abbreviations to Know… BAS = Benchmark Assessment System, assesses reading comprehension OER = Open – Ended Responses, assesses ability to demonstrate comprehension in writing DRA = Developmental Reading Assessment, assesses reading comprehension
