Geometric Lines :Geometric Lines
You Can Find Geometric Lines in the Real World :You Can Find Geometric Lines in the Real World On Roads In Art On Our Flag In Games On Maps
Types of Lines :Types of Lines A line is a collection of points along a straight path that goes on and on in opposite directions. A line has no endpoints. A line segment is a part of a line having two endpoints.
Slide 4:A ray is a part of a line with one endpoint and goes on and on in one direction... Vertical lines are lines that run up and down, like a telephone pole. Horizontal lines are lines that run left to right,
like the horizon.
Slide 5:Parallel lines are lines that never intersect and are always the same distance from each other at every point on the lines. Intersecting lines are two lines that cross at only one point.
Slide 6:Perpendicular lines are two lines that intersect
or meet and make four square or right angles.
