Today and Tomorrow Granbury ISD is dedicated to providing our students with a 21st century education where modern technology is an intricate part of the curriculum

Our Plan : 

Our Plan The use of technology has become an indispensable component in the classroom. Our original plan developed in 1998 provided the network infrastructure and instructional computers Our current plan will enhance the role of technology in curriculum design and delivery, provide a higher level of staff development

E-Rate : 

E-Rate Providing all of this technology is very expensive. The Schools and Libraries Program of the Universal Service Fund, E-Rate, provides discounts to schools and libraries to obtain affordable telecommunications and Internet access. 41% of Granbury’s students are economically disadvantaged, therefore we qualify for an E-Rate discount of 60%. To qualify for E-Rate, GISD developed a technology plan GISD Technology Plan

Technology in the classroom In GISD students’ interaction with technology begins in Pre-K or Kindergarten The activities increase their depth through elementary school Weekly news show produced by Maxwell and Abbey, 3rd grade students at Oakwoods Kindergarten class at Emma Roberson
