Laos provides a pleasant change of pace for travelers who are used to Thailand or Vietnam. This small Southeast Asian country has stunning scenery from Limestone Mountains to dense forests and spectacular waterfalls. The town lies on the Mekong and Sedone rivers and you will find delicious seafood restaurants dotted along the waterfront as well as herbal saunas for which the area is also famous.
