Objectives : Examine the district vision, and our roles for achieving this vision. Identify how coaching fits into an effective staff development model, and how it can tie pieces together. Develop goals to improve their school’s PD efforts and their coaching program.

My “Ideal” Collaboration Meeting:

My “Ideal” Collaboration Meeting Everyone would have a role, buy-in, participate, know what to expect, be eager to learn, eager to share data, eager to reflect and improve, eager to take risks of innovation and trying new things My principal would protect our collaboration meeting times, would want to hear/provide feedback, & develop us Admin would help with PD and coaching as needs arise, & would invest in our principal What would the “perfect” collaboration meeting look/sound like?

Looking ahead All Coaches and Principals will work together in Session 1 to: create presentation together to share expectations of collaboration, working together as Learning Communities, expectations for improving lessons (and developing Common Core lessons/units) together We’ll still address tech integration needs, but in context of curriculum, and will have ongoing PD as needed
