Premium member Presentation Transcript UK Elections 2010 : UK Elections 2010 Slide 2: The UK, the financial epicentre of the World, is about to conduct one of its most important elections in living history. In order to select which political party will lead the UK out of an economic meltdown, the British people have decide upon a new voting system..... Slide 3: Showing 8pm Thursdays on: Slide 4: Parties from across the nation have auditioned for a chance to lead the UK.... The British National Party: : The British National Party: “I Just Called to Say I Love You” – Stevie Wonder STEVIE WONDER!!!!! Are you ‘avin a laff??! I ain’t singing a song by a ni****....!!!! OUT Slide 6: The Scottish National Party: “I’m Gonna Be (500 miles)” – Proclaimers OUT I’m going to sing a wee song that we like to sing up here in wee Scotland.... ..i don’t know if you’ve heard it...!! Slide 7: The Green Party: In line with our views and policies, I am going to sing my next song in a ‘carbon neutral’ manner..... OUT Slide 8: But now only three contestants remain.... Gordon Brown from The Labour Party Nick Clegg from The Liberal Democrats David Cameron from The Conservatives Who will win? Only you can decide by voting tonight on....... Slide 9: FINAL Slide 10: Last time we saw the three remaining contestants do their final performances What will the judges’ feedback be? And what will you, the Public, vote for? Slide 11: Gordon chose to perform Whitney Houston’s version of “I Will Always Love You”. What did the judges think of it? Slide 12: I just feel I didn’t believe you. And I’m not sure the audience did either! “Don’t Look Back In Anger”...?? Oh come on!! He’s only in this competition becuase he was Tony’s backing singer and Tony has gone of to play Joeseph!! Gordon, it wasn’t your best. Boo! Humph....! I guess I could have done a different song... Maybe something the British people would have liked. Oasis maybe? Yes!! How about.... ..... Maybe something less technical.... Slide 13: Nick chose to perform the Stealers Wheel’s “Stuck in the Middle With You”. Slide 14: Nick.. You owned that!!! I really believed that you were “stuck in the middle”!! Nick, I think you might just have the ElecX-Factor! Gosh..! You have to be kidding!!! Boo!! That was just a tirade of audience pleasing tosh!! There was no substance to any of the notes he hit! But he’s got a lovely smile...!! How is a smile good enough to get you anywhere? Well, it got me where I am today.... If it wasn’t for my smile people would still remember me for racially abusing that toilet attendant... Admittedly being temporarily married to Ashley Cole probably helped people forget that too... Slide 15: David chose to perform Queen’s “We Are the Champions”. But on reaching the chorus his voice faltered and he broke down in tears... Slide 16: What happened, David?? You were doing so well...!! I just couldn’t take it anymore... We are meant to be “The Champions”.... ...but... Nick... and his Party have ruined it!! David, you have to believe in yourself... Remember it is the public who you need to get on your side! David, you need to look beyond the public’s prejudice towards you because you are posh... Soon they’ll work out for themselves that Nick went to just as good a school and Uni as you and hence is just as privileged!! Slide 17: But who will the judges chose to go through? The lines are now closed Slide 18: Gordon! Nick! David! IT’S CURRENTLY A HUNG PARLIAMENT!!! Who will Simon choose...? Slide 19: Lets give the decision to the public’s telephone vote..!! Ooo....
