Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Welcome to Tokesplace.com Slide 2: This Month We present Mixes Media Abstract Expressionist Images by Award Winning Fine Artist Ann Marie Williams Slide 3: Ms. Williams declares: I am an abstract expressionist. I experiment with colors, textures, new materials and techniques. Much of my art is the visual equivalent of blues, jazz, gospel or the African beat, rich in color and symbolism. Bright colors, bold designs, asymmetry, varying patterns, improvisations, collage, and symbolic forms characterize my work. I want a response from the viewer; to see what I see; and feel what I feel. I may, or may not have a subject in mind and then let the painting speak to me. My work is very intuitive and inspiration is derived from God’s gift, family, cultural experiences and social commentary.
