First Question ?

Slide 8:

Stick to the topic during seminars; avoid “side conversations” with classmates, and watch when we’ve gone on to a new topic so we don’t have some people answering a previous question while others are answering the current one (that gets confusing for everyone!).If you want to ask a question during seminar, “raise your hand” by typing // … look for the question mark key. This helps alert me to a question, rather than an answer! (smile) Use proper English as described in the Please Read Before Posting announcement above. Typos will happen, but just try to be clear. <<Rules to Seminar>>

Slide 9:

Seminars are graded on participation; logging in and just listening won’t earn points, so make sure you enter the discussion now and then. You’ll find that it’s not really hard, and many students think it’s the best part of the course. If you ever have to miss seminar, there is an alternative quiz. Do the unit readings before taking the quiz for best points! If you do both the seminar and the quiz, I award the higher of the two grades. <<Rules to Seminar Con’t>>
