The brain….. : 

The brain….. the brain makes up 2% of your body weight The brain takes 20% of daily calories that you absorb from the food you consume. The brain is more than 60% of fat Without eating the right foods your brain doesn’t function as well as it should

What food does for you : 

What food does for you - Improves your mood Sharpens your memory - Keeps you emotionally stable

Bad side effects : 

Bad side effects Too much food can clog the brain

Positive effects : 

Positive effects - The foods you eat can also boost your IQ Keeps your mind young and working at a fast paste

Foods good for the brain….. : 

Foods good for the brain….. Foods from each food category: Grains: oatmeal, wheat germ Veggies: broccoli, tomatoes Fruits: bananas, oranges -Meat: fish, turkey Dairy: yogurt, milk, cheese Oils Fats: dark chocolate Etc…. WATER!!

The guide to a right mind. Following the food guide pyramid is one of the best ways to have a healthy mind and body. Each category has foods that give the brain energy

Protein? : 

Protein? Protein is what improves the mental part of the brain. Proteins contain amino acids that transmit your brain cells to focus/ or motivate. You can cons eve proteins in foods such as meat, fish, milk or cheese.

Carbohydrates? : 

Carbohydrates? Carbohydrates is the brain’s primary source of energy. Carbohydrates is what breaks into glucose/ sugar, which gives you energy. You can find carbohydrates in foods such as grains, fruits or veggies.

Vitamins & minerals? : 

Vitamins & minerals? Vitamins and minerals are essential for the growth and functioning of the brain. Vitamins and minerals contain calcium, iron, zinc or vitamin a, c, d, e that help the brain develop cells to grow and function properly.
