Pre-Algebra Curriculum 13 chapters

I carefully follow the state standards
My students exceed state and district averages on the CST
Outcome could be Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1A, or Algebra 1
Structure :
Structure Review past concepts through warm-ups and lesson quizzes.
Lecture new material
Practice in class. Complete at least part of the assignment
Homework is to study and make sure you are ready to be tested the next day.
Grading :
Grading Homework is worth 25%
Quizzes are work 35%
Tests are worth 40%
Homework is considered practice, so students are graded on completion rather than accuracy.
How You Can Best Support Your Child :
How You Can Best Support Your Child Become the manager, not the tutor.
Reward them for using their planner.
Organize their notebooks once each week.
Make sure they have at least paper and pencils loaded each day
