Go to the “Investing” tab and go down to “Industries” Step 3 – Look At All The Industries : Step 3 – Look At All The Industries Click on “Complete Industry List” Pick An Industry That You Are Interested In : Pick An Industry That You Are Interested In I’ll choose “Apparel Stores as an example Slide 6: Then “Company Index” Slide 7: And Finally “Public”, because the only companies that you can own stock in are the publically traded ones. Now Here Are The Stocks : Now Here Are The Stocks Only choose stocks that have up to 4 letters, these are called the ticker symbols. I’ll choose FL (Foot Locker). That will be one stock I will write down now for further investigation. Now It’s Your Turn : Now It’s Your Turn Find 10 different stocks. Do not include Foot Locker. Write down the company and ticker symbol. The stocks should be in at least 5 different industries. Slide 10: So go back to the top and click “Industry Browser” And then click on “Complete Industry List” to start over. Remember… : Remember… 10 stocks with their ticker symbols. Symbols will have no more than 4 letters. Include at least 5 different industries. You do not have the permission to view this presentation.
