We received this program through L. Tom Perry, a member of the Quorum of the Twelve Apostles, ordained a prophet, seer, and revelator. Our Area Authority Seventy, Elder Scott D. Whiting is our direct link to Elder Perry. This program was presented on 19 October 2008 by Elder Whiting. This program comes from Christ

Ward Council : 

The Ward Council prepares a Ward Mission Plan and a list of names including less-active members, part-member families, and non-members Ward Council

Ward Mission Plan : 

Ward Mission Plan A Ward Mission Plan promotes ward missionary work. Such a plan may include goals, initiatives, and activities to help ward members invite people to hear the gospel. Individuals and families also benefit from developing such a plan to guide their missionary efforts. (Ward Mission Plan, Preach My Gospel, 2004. Pp. 220)

Names : 

Names Each Auxiliary prayerfully selects and submits a list of names. Specifically focusing on part-member families, less-active members and children of record who have not been baptized: 5 people from High Priests Group 5 people from Elder’s Quorum 5 people from Relief Society

Invitation To Be Taught : 

Invitation To Be Taught The appropriate ward leader contacts each person or family and invites them to be taught by the full-time missionaries.

Teaching Record/Area Book : 

Teaching Record/Area Book A teaching record is created for each person or family. Teaching Records are compiled in an area book.

Full-Time Missionaries Teach : 

Full-Time Missionaries Teach Full-time missionaries teach at least 20 lessons per week according to the following priorities: Current Investigators Media Referrals Area Book

Missionary Coordination Mtg. : 

Missionary Coordination Mtg. Under the direction of the Ward Mission Leader, Full-time Missionaries meet to coordinate additional teaching assignments. Those who must attend are: Ward Mission Leader, Missionaries, Ward Missionaries, and a member from the Elder’s Quorum Presidency, the Relief Society Presidency, and the High Priest Group Leadership.

Progress Records : 

Progress Records Progress Records summarize ward missionary activity. Copies are given to the Stake High Councilor assigned to missionary work. The Ward Mission Leader reports progress in each Ward Council Meeting.
