INTRODUCTION:

INTRODUCTION Darwin theory “The survival of the fittest” Organization do not remain same over a period of time. Due to this either a planned efforts or a process of adapting to changes in internal and external circumstances changes the organization.

ORGANIZATIONAL CHANGE Definition : Organizational changes is a process of by which organization move from their present state to some desired future state to increase their effectiveness

WHY ORGANIZATION CHANGES ?:

WHY ORGANIZATION CHANGES ? Organization experience two types of changes Organization try to adjust or adapt to changes occurring in external environment. Organization automatically keep on changing because it is in their nature to grow and develop.

WHY ORGANIZATION CHANGES ?:

WHY ORGANIZATION CHANGES ? Changes in what competitor do. Some our competitor are also motivate to adopt some idea or take decision forcefully even though the organization is not willing to take. Sometime political nature of organization also forces to change within the organization.

RESULT:

RESULT Only those organization which are able to undertake a suitable change program can survive and sustain in a changing and demanding market to remain ahead of others in a race.

CHARACTERISTICS OF CHANGE:

CHARACTERISTICS OF CHANGE It is a process not an event. Normal and constant. Increase further in the present competitive business. It is ‘ Directive ’ i.e. implemented by top management. It is ‘ Natural ’ i.e. adaptive to external environment.

MANAGING PLANNED CHANGE:

MANAGING PLANNED CHANGE Planned change :- Change activities that are intentional and goal-oriented. Goals of planned change:- To improve the ability of organization to adapt to changes in its environment. It seeks to change employee behavior.

MANAGING PLANNED CHANGE:

MANAGING PLANNED CHANGE If organization is to survive, it must respond to the changes in its environment. When competitors introduced new products or services, Government apply rules and regulation and Supplier go out of business The organization need to adapt with the external environment.

CHANGE AGENTS:

CHANGE AGENTS Change agents are those person who are responsible for any effective changes for the betterment within the organization. Change agents:- Manager Non-manger Newly hired employee Outside consultants.

CONCLUSION:

CONCLUSION Organizational change is a critical element of any corporation. Need to be aware of resistance to change. Change needs to be managed.
