Entering class Walk in quietly Take textbook, paper, and utensils out and hang book bag on the back of the chair . Sharpen pencils then return to seat.

How to head your paper : 

How to head your paper 1. Write first and last name on the top left corner 2. Write the date on the second line 3. Write the subject on the third line

Restroom break: 

Restroom break Raise your hand 2. Wait to be called 3. Then ask for a Hall Pass

Feeling sick : 

Feeling sick Walk quietly to the teacher’s desk Ask for a pass to the restroom

Sharpening pencils Sharpen pencils at the beginning of class and during break time. Throwing trash away Trash should be thrown away during break time and at the end of class. Signals to get attention Signal to get attention by raising your hand and waiting to be called on.

Use of calendar/agenda Calendar will have dates of tests and quizzes, be prepared to take them. Assigning textbooks Pick up textbooks at teacher’s desk when your name is called.

Housekeeping chores 1.Keep your belongings in your desk and under your chair 2.Do not throw trash on the floor or stick gum on your chair 3.If you waste something alert the teacher immediately and clean it up 4.Clear your desk at the end of class and throw trash away as you exit the classroom
