There is no opportunity for the internal stresses created in the fibers during drafting to relax. Introduction Basic Spinning Process : Opening and cleaning. Cleaning is required to remove the trash The combing process is identified with better quality The preparatory stage for the final insertion of twist. The 'Yarn' is produced of the sizes desired. Basic Spinning Process Some advanced spinning machines : Some advanced spinning machines Slide 5: Speed Frame LF 4200 Series spinning machine High Speed spinning machine Air Jet Spinning Rieter - Rotor Spinning Machine R 40 vortex spinning technology Some advanced spinning machines uses : Some advanced spinning machines uses Several fibers are twisted together to bind them into a strong, long yarn. chapters explore how to minimize fiber damage which occur during spinning and the use of spin finishes for textiles. Slide 7: Self-twist spinning Assessment of the quality of wrap yarns Use of spin finishes with particular spinning systems Slide 8: Drafting at Ring Frame is a major influence on yarn qualities & ultimately tells on even fabric appearance, conversion of drafting to upgrade ring frame is a worthwhile exercise. The various components of ring frame, drafting has the maximum influence on yarn quality &ring performance. Slide 9: Although it takes between 2 and 4 hours to fill a cop depending upon yarn fineness Process limitations restrict weight of the yarn on the cop to the range 50 – 140 g. This thread reverse is formed on the tube, and in the case of automatic doffing on the spindle. Slide 10: Stationary equipment that forms an integral part of the ring spinning machine itself. The main attraction of vortex spinning is that it is claimed to be capable of spinning 100% carded cotton fibers at very high speeds (400m/min), Slide 11: Other claimed advantages of vortex spinning are a low maintenance cost due to fewer moving parts, The resulting yarn structure is more similar to ring yarn than to rotor yarn [4,9,13,15,53]. Slide 12: The spindle distance caused better evenness, low imperfections, and less hairiness. Low yarn delivery speed and small spindle diameter reduced hairiness as well.
