Robert Morris Born in Liverpool, England (January 20, 1734) Died Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, U.S. (May 8, 1806 (aged 72). Was an American merchant, signer of the Declaration of Independence, the articles of Confederation and the United States Constitution United States Senator from Pennsylvania (March 4, 1789 – March 4, 1795). He was perhaps the wealthiest citizen in the Colonies
