So it began ……… : 

So it began ……… I started designing dolls in 1971. I have been intrigued ever since, as much by the process as the product. I started Sanjean Originals in 1978 with a line of cloth dolls sold by mail order. Since then I have included 3 dimensional media: porcelain; resin; polymer clay; and papier mache. The following is a loose chronology of some of my work:
