Hey Pa: why do people do evil things? Well Champ: They are working for the devil. Rejoice, and be GLAD: for those will have a great REWARD in HEAVEN: for so persecuted they PERSECUTED they the PROPHETS which were before you. Hey Pa: we are happy.

Did anybody else that lived before Jesus knew this would happen?Yeah Champ: There was a prophet named Isaiah who had spoke about things that would happen years before Jesus was born. He spoke different saying which says, 'By hearing you will hear, and will in no way understand;Seeing you will see, and will in no way perceive:for this people's heart has grown callous, their ears are dull of hearing, they have closed their eyes; or else perhaps they might perceive with their eyes, hear with their ears, understand with their heart, and should turn again; and I would heal them. Jesus told his disciples; "But blessed are your eyes, for they see; and your ears, for they hear. For most certainly I tell you that many prophets and righteous men desired to see the things which you see, and didn't see them; and to hear the things which you hear, and didn't hear them.

Chapter 43A Jesus Crucifixion Hey Pa: What did the soldiers do with Jesus? Champ: The soldiers took Jesus and made him go to the common hall where there was a lot of soldiers. They made him take off all of his clothes and put him on a robe. They put a crown of thorns on his head; they made him carry a reef in his right hand,. They shouted out to him “hail, hail are you the king of the Jews”. They spit on him, they put the reed and stuck it on his head. They made him wear his own clothing so he wouldn’t mess up their robe, they took him to the road to be crucified. The cross was real heavy and he needed help so a man named Simon said “can I help you carry the cross”, when they finally got to a place called Golgotha, Jesus was thirsty so they gave him vinegar to drink, the vinegar was to bitter to drink. The earlier prophets had written about every thing that was about to happen, when the crucified him, a sign was put over his head, “THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS”. There were 2 thieves hanging on crosses on the right & left of Jesus, one of his. The people kept passing by shaking their heads, calling out to him “save yourself if you are the Son of God”, let me see you come down from that cross. The high priests and council laughed & joked with each other saying look at him, he saved others but he can’t save himself.
