In this system people who have citizenship of INDIA and whose age is above 18 years of any can give his\her vote online without going to any polling booth. There is a DATABASE which is maintained by the ELECTION COMMISION OF INDIA in which all the voter information is stored.Existing system: Existing system Electronic Voting Machines ("EVM") are being used in Indian General and State elections. Electronic voting system was a part from 1999 elections and in total use since 2002 elections.Problem in current system: Problem in current system EVM does not send back the results to the Election Commission. Can be tampered High cost of election. Security conditions are also not very bright Time consuming process. In this system user unable to change his account detailsFINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS: FINANCIAL CONSTRAINTS The expenditure of elections in 1957 was 59 millions rupees Now it has been raised to more than 13000 million rupees.Need for better voting system: Need for better voting system With the introduction of electronic voting machines the work burden has decreased. But it can be still simplified by ONLINE POLLING Lack of accuracy in current system. Low reliability Redundant voter information. Huge amount of time for being updated. Easy to store the data , can be saved by a voter alsoProposed: Proposed ONLINE VOTIN G SYSTEMMAIN OBJECTIVES: MAIN OBJECTIVES The objective of Online voting system is to automate the whole manual processing of the existing system. Reduction false voting. The main objective to develop the system is to make the accurate & efficient decisions in different tasks at different time at different situations.Scope of the system: Scope of the system This system will increase the voting percentage in India. I f high security is applied then it may reduce false vote. He must have brief knowledge of online voting system. He must also have basic knowledge of English too. It reduces the paper work By this voting percentage will increase drastically.
