Slide2: Award- winning Terra Tangra is a landmark in modern Bulgarian wine making. The family owned estate covers 300 hectares in the beautiful, historic region of Sakar Mountain with its ideal climate, virgin soil and unspoilt terrain. The new vineyards, certified for biological production, produce small quantities of high-quality red and white grapes for award-winning single varietals and blends.

The winery: the very good ripeness of the grapes, the modern equipment for the vinification, very good bottling line, French barrels and the strictly observing of the good oenological practices together with one French wine consultant, ho is owner of several Chateaux in Saint Emilion, Bordeaux – those are the key factors and little details ho give the chance to the gifted wine makers to prove own capabilities and to make “big” wines. The presence of Terra Tangra on the international wine scene: Andrew Jefford wrote in Financial Times (25/ august 26 2007) that our Cabernet Sauvignon Will inching back the good name of the Bulgarian wine in the wine world. The wine magazine BACCHUS gives for the ROTO 91 points – this is the highest note that a Bulgarian wine has reached.

An intriguing nose with layers of melons and pineapple with herbal complexity, rounded off with some fresh capsicum notes. The palate has a pleasing freshness with rhubarb and stone fruit standing out and adding weight to the wine. There is a complementing hint of citrus and cut grass on the finish which makes this a great aperitif wine.Beautifully yellow color with greenish nuances. It has gentle exotic fruit taste, well- balanced aftertaste.

Intense yellow colour with greenish nuances.
Displays complex taste of dominating rose, with nuances of spices. It has elegant and pleasant aftertaste.

The bouquet displays the soft notes of peach and rock melon with a hint of re
d apples. The palate is creamy and rich but with enough acid to be fresh. Flavors of peach and melon found on the nose follow through and are joined by apple and citrus.

Winemaking:
Harvesting: by hand, into small crates to avoid bruising
Sorted before and after destemming
No crushing. The grapes are put into vats by gravity flow
Fermentation: in temperature-controlled inox vats for 25-30 days depending on the vintage
Extraction par pneumatic pigeage (punching down the cap)
Malolactic fermentation and ageing: in new oak barrels (up to 70%) on the lees
Fining and filtering as necessary, depending on the vintage

The inky purple color hints at the depth and
richness of this Syrah. Classic aromas of
pancetta and black pepper are followed by plum and blackberry jam flavors and a lingering finish. Smooth tannins but powerful and elegant.

This is a modern and elegant beautifully integrated wine, with depth and breath. It has a dark ruby color. Dominant taste of wild berry fruits and chocolate. Beautiful soft tannins envelope the palate and hint of very pleasing on the finish.
