Edward Magryta- Supervisor Town of Highlands

Edward Magryta- Supervisor Town of Highlands: 

Edward Magryta - Supervisor Town of Highlands Mr. Magryta took office in January of 2010 and has since cut taxes by 13.5% year 1, controlled spending, improved efficiencies, and has a slated tax cut year 2 of  at least 10%.  He holds an MBA degree from Rutgers University and is proficient in the Lean Six Sigma Program.  He is active in the Navy Reserve, an aviator with the rank of Commander.  His plans for a second term include implementing more efficient purchasing programs, consolidation of services between Village and Town (which, if financially feasible could include dissolution of the Village for "One Government"), taxpayer savings and enhanced services for our youth and seniors.  Mr. Magryta makes his home in Fort Montgomery with his wife Lynn.

James Stradley- Town Council: 

James Stradley - Town Council Mr. Stradley is an "Army Brat" with long-standing ties to this community.  He attended local schools and was previously employed as a Police Officer in the Town of Highlands.  Mr. Stradley is an asset to team taxpayer and a solid candidate to do the people's business.  His goals include: the practice of fiscal conservatism, increased youth and senior programs and consolidation of services.  He makes his home in Highland Falls with his wife Tina and their two children.

Jason O'Dell- Town Council: 

Jason O'Dell- Town Council Mr. O'Dell attended local schools and is currently employed with ConEdison .  He is an asset to team taxpayer and another solid candidate for the Town Board.  His goals include: tax reduction, efficient spending, youth services and senior programs.  He resides in Highland Falls with his soon-to-be-wife Kristin Dyroff .

Nicholas Podias- Receiver of Taxes: 

Nicholas Podias - Receiver of Taxes Mr. Podias is a life-long resident of Highland Falls.  He is currently employed by Windgate Insurance Company and is the former proprietor of the Fireside Restaurant in Highland Falls.  His pleasant manner and customer service make it less painful when it comes time to pay the taxes.  He is an asset to Team Taxpayer for his professionalism, organizational abilities and meticulous bookeeping and tracking of our tax dollars.  Mr. Podias makes his home in Fort Montgomery with his wife Tracy and their two sons.

Theresa Galu-Ziemer- Town Clerk: 

Theresa Galu-Ziemer - Town Clerk Ms. Galu-Ziemer was born and raised in Highland Falls and is a James I O'Neill graduate (Honor Society member) and a University of Delaware graduate (Bachelor of Science degree).  She is a member of the Alpha Chi Omega National Sorority and has over 20 years experience in management and business.  She is a candidate who is fiscally responsible, a specialist in customer Service, professional, and committed to serving this community. Organized, dedicated, and hardworking, she is an asset to Team Taxpayer and the perfect fit for an efficient and professional Town Clerk. Ms. Galu-Ziemer makes her home in Highland Falls with her husband Richard and their son.

Vincent Donaldson- Town Justice: 

Vincent Donaldson- Town Justice Judge Donaldson is a long time resident of the community.  A former police officer, his law enforcement background has served him well as an honest and impartial member of the Town of Highlands Judicial team for many years.  He is an asset to Team Taxpayer and a good friend and mentor to many members of our community.  We are thrilled to have him on our team.  Judge Donaldson resides in Highland Falls with his wife Donna.

Konstantinos Fatsis, Esq.: 

Konstantinos Fatsis , Esq. Judge Fatsis was born and raised in Highland Falls.  He was appointed to our Judicial Team in the Spring of 2011 and has proven to be a valuable asset.  His "no nonsense" approach coupled with his belief in the Community Service program has given this community the balance needed to be tough on crime as well as to have the more minor offenders give back to the community by performing community service work.  We are pleased to welcome him as a valued member of Team Taxpayer.  Judge Fatsis resides in Highland Falls with his wife Angela and their two children.
