We modify the lessons by using the tools of acceleration. Acceleration does not mean advancing a student to the next grade level. It is achieved by enhancing the core curriculum with the implementation of the tools of acceleration. Tools of Acceleration: Tools of Acceleration Content Content refers to the grade level standards and core curriculum Tools of Acceleration: Tools of Acceleration Depth Depth refers to the concept of challenging learners by enabling them to venture further, deeper, and with more elaboration into the area of study. Tools of Acceleration: Tools of Acceleration Complexity Complexity refers to the concept of broadening the learner’s understanding of the areas of study by asking him/her to make connections, relationships, and associations between, within and across subjects and disciplines.
