Slide 6:

Research:Let’s me have research driven lessons and not just text book driven instruction. Responsible: Puts me in the drivers seat where I am involved and responsible for my learning and then able to share it with others everywhere that there is an Internet connection. Resources: My teachers and school have awesome websites. The Acers will let me access them and help me to acquire the digital literacy I need to become a life-long learner. Rejuvenate: Now your talking. When I walk into school I do not want to be taught the way my grandmother was taught. Technology is meaningful to me ! It motivates my learning and makes me want to come to school! Real Life/ Real World: Technology is everywhere. It is what I like and understand. I can work with on-line tools and simulations like LEGO and other tools. r

THANK You again for the Opportunity to apply for your grant! The Acers address the skills in the NETS-S and Missouri’s Information & Communication Goals We love working on the computers and appreciate your considering us for your grant! Our state requires we take a Technology Test in 8th grade. The Acers will help me to be prepared to succeed on the test and with all my digital assignments. This grant will help to meet the needs in the district. We have one lab and many many students who would like to use computers. Technology prepares us for the future. acer
