Episode 045: Ballyhoop Secrets and Tips for Catching More Bait Part 1- How to Make Homemade Chum for Catching Bait with the Ballyhoop In this podcast I reveal how to catch more bait using the Ballyhoop using a homemade chum recipe. I have been using this recipe for many years to make frozen chum chum clouds and chum balls. Save money and catch for more bait and big snappers without sacrificing the quality of your fishing trip by making your own chum with out all the mess of grinding up fish parts with a wood chipper or hand grinder. This is Part 1 of a 2 or 3 part Ballyhoop podcast. Selecting the right frozen chum and creating a soft chum mix is the most important part of bait fishing with the Ballyhoop. In part 2 I will talk about how I modify the Ballyhoop and decoy shy ballyhoo and speedos into the Ballyhoop. It is not as easy as it looks on the videos and practice makes perfect.
