What Is Creationism? • Webster’s Definition: A doctrine or theory holding that matter, the various forms of life, and the world were created by god out of nothing usually in the way described in Genesis— • Idea that God is in control of everything • Science is not in control, God in fact controls science •Theory of faith over science • If it is in the Bible then it’s true • Faith in God despite scientific evidence
