Case study 3- The Sidings, DelaboleC:

Case study 3- The Sidings, DelaboleC This is a development of affordable 14 two and three bedroom homes for sale by Camelot Country CIC ; Land (zoned as industrial) acquired from the RDA; Initial feasibility grant from the Tudor Trust of £2,500; Pre-development loan of £17,000 from the CLT Fund; Development Finance- loans totalling £1.5 million (lenders: Charity Bank, Venturesome and Cornwall Council). This is a “grant free” scheme. Start on site achieved on 29 th August, 2011 & will complete by 31 st May, 2012. Site is adjacent to Delabole slate quarry (see next slide). .
