Premium member Presentation Transcript Uganda 2009 : Uganda 2009 Associated with the Charity Mbale, Uganda : Mbale, Uganda Slide 3: PONT is a community to community link between Rhondda Cynon Taff in South Wales and a district in Uganda called Mbale. It’s aims is to improve the lives of Ugandans living in Mbale, over the years it has benefitted the Mbale Community from various workshops and organisations. Bryn Celynnog’s involvement in the Charity : Bryn Celynnog’s involvement in the Charity Bryn Celynnog is paired with a school called Busiu Secondary School. Mrs West had the idea to take a group of pupils out there to improve the link. Fundraising Activites : Fundraising Activites Fundraising Activities : Fundraising Activities Overall we raised around £14,000 for our trip thanks to everyone’s help and support. The trip took place on July 15th 2009, and ended July 24th 2009.
