Slide 10: The destruction of my childhood wasn’t only just that – I was stripped of many opportunities in life most people take for granted. Slide 11: I couldn’t finish school. I couldn’t go to university. I couldn’t keep friends. I couldn’t maintain relationships. Slide 12: I couldn’t keep a job. I couldn’t control my anger. I couldn’t be happy. I couldn’t have any hope of living a fulfilled life. Slide 13: I couldn’t see a light at the end of my torturous tunnel. Slide 14: The life I should have had was stolen from me at 9. It was replaced with a life of emotional and physical scars which can never be removed, nor my childhood replaced.
