Aim to make learner an Evaluator To help child learn by mistakes he commits in the learning process Develop rational thinking Bring attitudinal change It begins before the learning process starts It continues as a part of leaning through out the session Provides effective feed back Improves quality of Educational Experiences Contributes to satisfaction of the learner and the preceptor It is a process that contributes and guides to growth of learner
The process:
The process Well designed challenging Formative assignment to be given Encourage students to respond without fear of wrong attempts Prompts of correct response will be written on Black Board so that students exchange Exercise Note Book among the peer and evaluate using a red ink Correction will be done by the student and will be further checked by the Teacher for authenticity. When mistakes are pointed out , it will reinforce learning in child The learning will be strengthened Children to keep a record of errors committed and pointed out by him and of his peer respectively A follow up of the same will be done in study camps
Keep track:
Keep track The child should be awarded as follows: Per mistake +1 for pointing mistake. Per mistake -1 for committing mistake. Credit - Would be the marks of difference (a and b). For example : a +5 b-2 c+3 The data can be recorded by the Teacher in tabular form( as shown in next slide)
Computation :
Computation SN No. of mistakes pointed by child (a) No. of mistakes committed by child (b) Total credit (a+b) Remarks by the Teacher Note of a child 1 2----so on
