Objective: :

Objective : To understand the views and preferences of the employees towards the involvement in CSR activities of the organization. To discuss the role of HR in making effective employee engagement in the CSR activities of the organization.

Concept of Corporate Social Responsibility :

Concept of Corporate Social Responsibility “CSR is a concept whereby companies integrate social and environmental concerns in their business operations and their interaction with their stakeholders on a voluntary basis.”

Role of HR in implementing Business ethics and CSR :

Role of HR in implementing Business ethics and CSR CSR and ethics could be integrated into processes such as the employer brand, recruitment, appraisal, retention, motivation, reward, internal communications, diversity, coaching and training . These topics are becoming a must for HR because of the growing recognition that staffing is an area of risk to business . Ethical behavior and CSR needs to be embedded in an organization’s culture to make a change to actions and attitudes. HR already works at communicating and implementing ideas, policies, cultural and behavioral change across organizations.

Research methodology :

Research methodology This survey seeks to explore four main questions regarding the HR-CSR nexus: To what extent do early career employees consider CSR strategy in their evaluation of employers? How do organizations and HR leadership integrate CSR initiatives into their employee value proposition? What are some of the priorities/challenges in leveraging CSR as a way to recruit and retain talent? What type of role does HR currently play in this process and how could it be further developed?

CAHRS Survey:- :

CAHRS Survey:- CAHRS administered an online survey to 200 students and young professionals from around the United States under the age of 30. It was found that though there is a strong emphasis on CSR within Young Generation, its importance might be deceivingly overstated.
