Present Perfect. The Present Perfect Tense is the combination of two important elements: The auxiliary “has / have” and the past participle form of the verb. The past participles of regular verbs are the same as the simple past ( the “simple past” is when we add “ed” to verbs in the past tense). However, the past participles of irregular verbs are different. Regular Irregular Note: Please open your book and see pag 153 for more past participles.
