Climb solo, just by myself, so I can really do some introspection. Try to find out if this could be a plausible leisure choice for me. Take note for all the grieves and glories of the adventure. Enjoy it !!!Statistics: Statistics Mission Peak in east Fremont, part of East Bay Regional Park district. It stands at 2517 ft high, with a well built trail Three trails, from Ohlone College, Stanford Ave and from Sunol. Stanford trail also called Peak Medow trail is the steepest of all, and I took this one, yay! History: History Home of the Ohlone Indians Became part of the Rancho de Agua up until California become a state Thomas Millard bought it in 1855, and then the McClure family Finally it became part of the East Bay Regional Park district as the parcel gifted by McClure Family.The Beginning: The Beginning January 14th 2010 nice sunny morning, I started the hike Beautiful views around, it feels just great, the entire bay area pops up in front of my eyes It took me little over 20 minutes to reach the first bench, it is suppose to be easiest part of the hike View from the first rest benchThe Pain: The Pain From the first bench the trail become considerably steeper I started to struggle, and by the time I reached the next bench I am sweating heavily But the views keeps getting better and wider as I gain altitude But I am still enjoying it View of the east bayFantastic Vistas: Fantastic Vistas Calaveras ReservoirA few more…: A few more…Almost there: Almost there Now I have crossed the final resting bench, and I am still kicking My legs does hurt a little, sweating continues, but I am having a lot of fun I am really close to the summit now, it feels great The final ascentI conquer: I conquer Yes, I am at the top of the summit! I have done it, it feels just great Well, I never thought it will be this much fun But I am tired and I still have to go down Took me little over 2 hours to reach the summit, not bad huh?
