God has finally taken the reins. Human athletes’ after an injury live the rest of their lives happily ever after. As an athlete, I would like the same respect and opportunity to show that I am not just a race horse, or a commodity, I am a living, feeling creature. Through God, I know I can be a great therapy horse. I can help children. I can help the handicapped. All I’m asking for is that you give me a chance.

A young woman’s perspective. Thanks to everyone who came together and helped us rescue this beautiful horse. Even thank you to the owner who wanted to send him to slaughter. The truth is, he could have sent this horse to slaughter and received money for him, but he chose to give him to us. It is our hope that we can come together to raise the funds to give him the best home on the planet. Bux has a whole acre to himself, to run and play. We are asking for donations to fence in his new home.
