Step 1: Open iTunes on the computer that is used to maintain the iPad. Authorize iTunes to use your account information (different from the account that is currently on the computer). This can be done on up to five separate computers. To do this, go to " Store > Authorize Computer ". Step 2: Enter your iTunes account credentials and click " Authorize ". If you have authorized too many computers, it will let you know and you will have to free one up by going to a copy of iTunes you've already authorized and choosing "Store > Deauthorize Computer."
