End-User Introduction The Alcohol Seller/Server Training Program targets both on-sale and off-sale retailers of intoxicating liquors and is specifically designed to accomplish these two goals: 1) Eliminate sales to minors 2) Eliminate sales to intoxicated adults The Alcohol Seller/Server Training Curriculum contains three important components: 1) Skill development 2) Active learning 3) Policy presentation and discussion The Alcohol Seller/Server Training Program consists of ten lessons. After each lesson, you will complete a short quiz that highlights the most important information contained within the lesson. In order to pass the Final Examination at the conclusion of the training lessons, you will need to successfully pass each of the ten lesson quizzes. It will take you approximately ninety minutes to complete the ten lessons and quizzes that are presented within this Training Program. If you can not finish the Program in one session, you may come back at a later time and finish the Program, starting where you had left off. In order to successfully pass the Final Examination, you will need to answer 90% of all 30 questions correctly. If you answer 27 or more of all Final Examination questions correctly, your name will be automatically registered as having successfully completed the Chemical Health Initiative Alcohol Seller/Server Training Program. If you wish, you may print off the Certificate of Training that will appear at the end of the Program. Any prospective employer will be able to verify your successful completion of the Training Program by logging into the data bank identifying those persons who have completed the training along with the date of the training completion. Having your name on the list of persons who have successfully completed the Training Program will allow you to legally sell or serve intoxicating liquors in Goodhue County for a 12 month period. Your registration as a trained seller/server of intoxicating liquors in Goodhue County expires 12 months after the date you successfully completed the Training Program.
