Premium member Presentation Transcript Slide 1: Standard Operating Procedures for Palletizing IT Assets Intro- Before You Go Slide 2: CREW: The number of assets onsite determines the number of crew members required: Under 25 assets = 1 person 26 - 100 assets = 2 people Slide 3: CREW: Over 200 assets = 4 people More than 4 workers are not recommended. Slide 4: TIME: Expect to package between 20-30 assets/hour/person, including setup time and scanning/labeling: 100 assets: 2 people, 2 - 2.5 hrs 200 assets: 3 people, 2 - 2.5 hrs Slide 5: TIME: Make sure you have enough time to complete the task in one day. Pickups over 600 assets may have to be scheduled over multiple days. Slide 6: Before You Go: Make sure iPhone is fully charged Slide 7: Make sure you SYNC to download current jobs Slide 9: PACKING MATERIALS Stretch film: 100 Gauge + (300 ft/pallet or 20 rounds) Cardboard slip sheets: double-walled, 350 # (Min. size: 40” x 40”) Bring 1 sheet per 6 assets Slide 10: PACKING MATERIALS Pallets must be 40” x 48”, new or without damage. NO CHEP PALLETS. Single laptops: bubble wrap in individual boxes. Multiple laptops: bubble wrap or slotted shipping kits.
